re the ‘straight’ video – problem with the point they’re trying to make is sexuality is a continuous variable – not binary. people with very high levels of ‘straightness’ indeed never decided to be straight; same for other side of spectrum. people who say sexuality’s not a choice focus on these 2 groups. but people in the middle could go either way (or both). people who say sexuality is a choice focus on this group. if video only sampled people at extremes (maybe majority or vast majority), would be misleading
